Day one of the Canada's Cup 2011 Defender's Trials finished with a tie after two races. Team Convexity won the first race with less than a 20 second lead and Team Heritage won the second race with a decisive 1:42 minute victory. Follow the Canada's Cup 2011 Defender Trials starting today on Sail22's Sailing Updates. We're in Holland, Michigan at Macatawa Bay Yacht Club to cover this year's Canada's Cup. Racing starts today with Team Heritage helmed by Bob Hughes and Team Convexity helmed by Don Wilson, vying for the right to defend the United States against the Canadian challenger, Team Vincere next week.
